Storypalooza is a free, family-friendly reading festival created to make stories come alive for children and families across our community. Hosted by Norman Rotary Club, this inaugural event brings together authors, illustrators, special guest readers, and creative experiences designed to spark curiosity, imagination, and a lifelong love of reading.
On Saturday, March 28, the Norman Public Schools Center for Arts & Learning will transform into a lively, interactive celebration of literacy. Families can explore hands-on arts activities, meet authors and illustrators, enjoy story times with special guest readers, and even spot costumed storybook characters throughout the day. This is not your traditional sit-and-listen book reading — Storypalooza is designed to be active, engaging, and fun for readers of all levels.
Programming is designed for school-age children, with opportunities for every reading level, along with learning sessions for parents and caregivers who want to support reading at home. Spanish-language sessions will also be available. Storypalooza is a come-and-go event, allowing families to attend at their own pace, with a full schedule of activities and appearances to be announced soon.
Best of all, Storypalooza is FREE and open to the public, with free parking available at the venue. Come dressed to explore, imagine, create, and celebrate stories together.
